Recently, we brought in a few slight changes to the Adcash Advertiser KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance procedures. They aren’t major, but it helps if you know about them. This article will give you the rundown on what fields have been added.
These changes aren’t drastic. Just a few more fields to fill in when registering your Advertiser account as a business.
With banks implementing stricter compliance procedures across the world, our goal is to keep you protected and make sure we’re able to keep credit card payments active and in accordance with global banking standards.
What is KYC? A quick reminder.
The question on everyone’s mind! (okay, at least a few of you anyway 😆). We’ll keep it short.
KYC (know your customer) is how we keep your payments and account details safe. The only way we can protect your identity, profile, and financial transactions from any fraudulent activity are to know who is using the Adcash platform.
Likewise, the only way you could ever trust us as a credible platform that will safeguard and uphold your personal information is by having these structures in place.
Lastly, according to GDPR regulations (more on this in a bit) the international business standards organization (ISBO) requests this information to be provided for all established businesses across the world.
Benefits of KYC?
So, why do we need it and why do we need to apply it? The three main purposes of KYC are to keep your account…
- Free from fraud
- Fully transparent
- Safe and secure at all times
Our Promise to you
We strive to keep your account, profile, and payments safe at all costs, ensuring that…
- All the information we request from you is for verification purposes only.
- Your data will not be shared with anyone. EVER!
- We’ll always strive to uphold and strengthen our security standards continuously.
With the above taken into account, know that your data is and always will be secure under KYC protocol according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules. These being the Holy Grail of privacy and protection in the EU today, any company compliant with GDPR standards is by law forbidden to share, distribute, or sell client data under any circumstances, meaning, your data will never fall into the wrong hands.

So, what changed on the Advertiser side?
Advertisers registering onto the platform as a business will need to fill in a few bits of additional information under the finance/payments section on the DSP platform. For Advertisers registering as individuals, the fields will stay the same.
Additional KYC information requested for company accounts include…
- Company website URL
- Company registration number / tax number
- Business area
Once submitted, you’ll be able to make your payment and start your campaign immediately.
