Our Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator @caroliiinal and Finance Controller @maarjaff somehow ended up choosing the same destination and came back with stories and tips we had to share. This time, we’re heading to sunny #Tanzania and #Zanzibar. 🇹🇿

🦁 In the rush to get to the tropical island, don’t skip the mainland. Go on a safari and live out your Lion King fantasy. There are plenty to choose from, but Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater are truly unforgettable. If you can, spend a night inside the park. Waking up to lions roaring somewhere in the distance is an experience you’ll never forget.

🏖️ Zanzibar. A piece of paradise on earth. Skip the busiest spots and head east to Paje or Jambiani for a quieter, more authentic vibe.

🌊 Check the tides before heading to the beach. High tide, low tide, it will decide your swim plans.

🍍 Eat. A lot. Local seafood, fresh fruit, curry, coconuts, local beer. You’ll figure out the rest.

🌶️ Don’t skip a spice farm tour. It’s interactive, fun, and comes with an amazing lunch.

🌅 Days start early and end early. It gets dark around 4-5 PM, so plan accordingly.

Two phrases you’ll learn on day one: hakuna matata (don’t worry) and pole pole (take it easy), and honestly, that’s the best travel advice Tanzania has to offer.

I am the first in-house lawyer hired by Adcash, and I think this helped me stand out from the beginning. I thrive in supportive environments, and from day one, I felt very welcome, which helped me talk to people, ask questions, and figure out how I could bring value. Also, I’m very competitive.

Things move quickly and are much more agile in tech. This includes regulations that apply to us. Although adtech has long been subject to various regulations, it has often operated in a regulatory grey area due to a lack of clear, adtech-specific rules. This requires us to be ready for new regulations to come our way.

I don’t usually reminisce about past achievements, but at work, it was definitely digitizing our contract signing and starting a padel training group at Adcash. Both equally important 😁

This year’s Gala felt straight out of a Bond movie, and who knew it would fit us so perfectly. Poster-worthy outfits, smooth moves on the dance floor, the whole room glowing with glamour and elegance. Safe to say we hit the jackpot that night. ♥️🎰

At the start of the year, the marketing team headed off-site for three days in a real winter wonderland. We reflected on the past, dreamed bigger, and mapped out bold plans for what’s next. Three days in the forest that brought us closer and set the tone for the whole year. ❄️✨
